Three different apartment designs are available: a one-bedroom apartment, a two-bedroom apartment, and a two-bedroom deluxe apartment. All Courts units have covered carports, convenient and accessible apartment entry areas, and a cozy private patio. The apartments' kitchens are furnished with modern appliances, and all apartment maintenance is provided by The Woodland staff. An emergency call system in each apartment provides a direct line to the nursing staff, granting security and peace of mind to all Courts residents. One of the most distinctive features of life in The Courts is the opportunity to participate in a vibrant neighborhood of independent seniors. With nearly seventy residents, The Courts offers a wide range of programs and activities. The Courts Community House functions as the center for neighborhood life among apartment residents. It is also available for use by Courts residents for their own family and social gatherings. The community wellness programs help to encourage residents to their highest level of personal health through exercise (including aerobics, strength training, and aquatics), education, and recreation (our campus currently includes a putting green and several walking courses, with additional facilities planned for the near future). The Woodland's residential, independent living neighborhood, offers
an attractive campus for independent
seniors to enjoy their retirement. Our sixty apartment units are all
single-story houses with either one or two bedrooms. Residents of The
Courts are able to maintain their independence with the added security
of
having health care workers on campus at all times.
