Ray
A. Moore, Jr. Rehabilitation Center, opened in April 2005, offers
comprehensive rehabilitation services tailored to individual
needs
and abilities.
The Center employs licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists
and serves out-patient needs as well as the needs of the residents
of The Woodland neighborhood. Many people in the surrounding
area take advantage of our in-patient rehabilitation services in
preparation for returning home and to the community after recent
hospitalization, injury, or surgery. Moore Center therapists work
to fulfill the goal of helping individuals whose lives have
been
disrupted
by
physical
injury,
accident,
disease,
or the aging process, aiming to make them as independent and safe
as possible.
Our
therapists are skilled in providing rehabilitative care for many
temporary and
chronic conditions, including joint replacements
and fractures, back and neck pain, neurological disorders, hand injuries,
amputations, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and cancer.
The Moore Center has spacious facilities and advanced equipment to
ensure that patients receive the highest quality of therapy services,
and that they see as rapid a recovery as is possible. Our therapy
complex includes a gymnasium, six private treatment rooms, a heated
pool, and a therapeutic whirlpool. Inpatient rooms at the Moore Center
have a private bed with spacious bath, telephone, and cable television.
Dining services are provided in partnership with Morrison's Senior
Dining. The Moore Center accepts major third party payors.
We
invite you to tour our facilities. Our therapy professionals can
