The Woodland proudly supports its local charities. Staff members happily make a monthly contribution to a charity, giving them the privilege to wear their jeans to work on Fridays. The Woodland matches employee contributions. Some of the charities benefiting from this program:

Resident at Woodland and from the greater Farmville area community meet regularly to socialize and enjoy culture and entertainment. Currently they are viewing “The Roots of Religion”, a fascinating program exploring ancient and modern religious movements

The Woodland welcomes volunteers from Longwood University, the Farmville Community, staff and residents. Volunteers assist and participate in numerous activities, including music, arts, crafts, games and reading to residents. For information please call 434 392 6106. |
